In the minor course Intervention Design led by media sociologist Theo Ploeg, I explored the world of speculative design by solving the problems of the future. The course was really concept design based, which I really enjoyed but also gave me a sense of future thinking and how we need to change this to make a better future for ourselves.

I explored the world of AI and 3D printing, which if combined together gives you my online 3D printed body part shop. I designed the concept, artwork and UI of the speculative shop and also did the research and conducted interviews before eventually settling for this idea. The goal was to stir up a discussion about the ethics of printing your own body parts and how this would change our perception of our own body.
